Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: August 3, 2026

At Alphabet Boutique Hotel, cancellation and modification conditions depend on the rate and booking option selected by the guest.

Guests are responsible for reviewing the applicable cancellation and payment conditions before confirming a reservation.

The cancellation conditions displayed at the time of booking and stated in the booking confirmation form part of the reservation agreement and will apply to that booking.

1. Flexible Reservations

Reservations made under a flexible rate may be cancelled or modified without charge until the cancellation deadline stated in the booking confirmation.

If a reservation is cancelled after the applicable free-cancellation deadline, the Hotel may charge the cancellation fee specified in the booking conditions.

Depending on the rate selected, this may include the cost of one or more nights or the full reservation amount.

Changes to arrival dates, departure dates, room categories, or other reservation details are subject to availability and may result in a change in the applicable room rate.

2. Non-Refundable Reservations

Reservations identified as Non-Refundable are subject to stricter cancellation conditions in exchange for a preferential rate.

Once a Non-Refundable reservation has been confirmed:

  • The reservation cannot normally be cancelled free of charge;

  • The reservation amount may be charged in full at any time after confirmation;

  • Payments made are non-refundable in the event of cancellation;

  • Failure to arrive does not entitle the guest to a refund; and

  • Changes to dates or reservation details are subject to the Hotel's approval and are not guaranteed.

Where the Hotel agrees, at its sole discretion and where permitted by law, to modify a Non-Refundable reservation, any difference in the applicable room rate may be charged.

Approval of an exception on one occasion does not create an obligation for the Hotel to grant similar exceptions in the future.

3. Late Cancellations

Where a guest cancels after the free-cancellation deadline applicable to the reservation, the Hotel is entitled to apply the cancellation charge specified in the confirmed booking conditions.

The Hotel may charge the payment method provided with the reservation to the extent authorised by the applicable booking and payment conditions.

4. No-Show

A no-show occurs when a guest fails to arrive on the confirmed arrival date without cancelling the reservation in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions.

In the event of a no-show, the Hotel may charge up to the amount permitted under the confirmed reservation conditions, including the full reservation value where the applicable rate so provides.

Unless otherwise agreed with the Hotel, the Hotel is not required to hold the room for the remaining nights after a no-show and may release or resell the room.

A no-show does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund for any unused nights.

5. Early Departure

If a guest chooses to depart before the confirmed check-out date, unused nights are not automatically refundable.

Any refund or reduction in charges for an early departure will depend on:

  • The conditions of the booked rate;

  • The circumstances of the early departure;

  • Whether the unused accommodation can be resold; and

  • Any mandatory requirements of applicable law.

Non-Refundable reservations remain non-refundable in the event of early departure, except where otherwise required by law.

6. Modification of a Reservation

Requests to change reservation dates, room category, number of guests, or other booking details are subject to availability.

A modification may result in a different room rate.

The Hotel is not obliged to maintain the original rate where the dates, room category, occupancy, or other material conditions of the reservation are changed.

Where a reservation cannot be modified, the applicable cancellation conditions will continue to apply.

7. Reservations Made Through Third-Party Platforms

Reservations made through Booking.com or another third-party booking platform are subject to the cancellation, modification, payment, and no-show conditions displayed by that platform when the reservation is made.

Guests should submit cancellations or modification requests through the same platform used to make the reservation where required by that provider.

Where there is a difference between this general Cancellation Policy and the specific cancellation conditions contained in a confirmed third-party reservation, the conditions of the confirmed reservation will apply, subject to applicable law.

Refunds processed by a third-party booking or payment provider may also be subject to that provider's processing procedures and timelines.

8. Refunds

Where a guest is entitled to a refund, the refund will normally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The Hotel is responsible only for the amount it is required to refund.

Any bank fees, card-processing differences, currency-conversion differences, or charges imposed independently by a guest's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or booking platform are outside the Hotel's control.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method, bank, booking platform, or payment provider involved.

9. Exceptional Circumstances

Requests for cancellation or modification due to exceptional circumstances may be considered individually.

The Hotel may, at its discretion and where permitted by law, offer:

  • A change of dates;

  • A booking credit;

  • A partial refund;

  • A full refund; or

  • No refund where the applicable reservation conditions do not provide for one.

Any discretionary exception granted by the Hotel does not amend the original rate conditions or establish a precedent for future reservations.

Nothing in this section restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Georgian law.

10. Cancellation by the Hotel

In exceptional circumstances where Alphabet Boutique Hotel is unable to provide the confirmed accommodation, the Hotel will take reasonable steps in accordance with applicable law.

The Hotel will not be required to provide compensation beyond that required by applicable law.
